This is funny, wanted to share it with you:

The owner of my company was getting ready to leave and stopped by to tell us goodbye first. Well, he asked one of my CW's if she's taking any time off for Christmas. Then he went straight into asking all of us if we get any time off (we do get 2 days off, woo hoo!) and my CW was picking around and said no, and that we don't even get our birthdays off. The owner then said to take it to the complaint department. CW asked where our's is, owner said, "Take it to Helen Waite."



Edit, I meant to add something. Don't you wish we could tell customers that when they have a complaint??

And yes, the owner was joking. the OP said they get a couple of days off and his/her CW was poking fun, saying they didn't even get birthdays off.

I bought my husband a little plaque for his desk a few years ago. It reads something like:

"Tech Support is now being handled by Helen Waite. Should you have any pressing tech support needs, please go to Helen Waite."

One of the company VPs spent an hour or so trying to track down this new employee Ms. Waite until his secretary, exhausted from laughing silently behind her desk, finally enlightened him.
