  • my own personal hell project

so i had the pleasure of taking a call from a very nice lady, who needed the conference room calendar emailboxes cleaned up. basicly a functional mailbox that they use the calendar function for reserving the physical room. the boxes had hit thier storage cap and were closed. so i get to bump the cap up to clean out the boxes and then lower the cap back down. the cap is 12mb for each box. 3 of the 5 exceeded the limit by 3 or 4 times the limit. not sure how... so i get to go through and select each calendar entry manually and delete them. this feels like its gonna be an epic quest......

I don't envy you one bit.
1129. I will refrain from casting Dimension Jump and Magnificent Mansion on every police box we pass.

If this is an outlook environment, did you try using the 'archive' command?

normally that would work, for a standard user account. this is more akin to a group email box. and the archive doesnt pull the calendar items out of the calendar it just makes a copy of it.
