Ah, pseudo IT jargon spouting.

A guy at my work likes to pull that crap sometimes. It doesn't usually fly, though, because I know a bit more about computers than he does.

I get asked to help people with their systems all the time, at work. I don't really mind, as I usually have spare moments thorughout the day. Thankfully, however, my bosses accept when I tell them that what they think the problem is has nothing to do with their problem. I have been known to say, "Well, you can try that, but it won't help," and walking away.

Bah. I've fixed a computer that had games on level with what I play. Closest is my Dad's. Mainly because I got him hooked on Rise of Nations and Fable. At least now I know where my gamer genes come from. He just didn't know he had them until I gave him the game to try out after he saw me playing it once.

Geez, no wonder my requested $30 an hour for non-business PC work is getting more takers. Time to up it to at least $75.
