I have to admit that sometimes, I will not hear out the closing statements, but normally this is because they are people I didn't want to speak with in the first place (bill collectors, or telemarketers).
However, if I placed a call to someone working on a phone bank for help, I ALWAYS hear them out to the end, AND I make sure to tell them I was very pleased with their help (assuming I was...). I know these calls are recorded, and I hope my statements help them look better in the eyes of their employers.
Of course, if I'm unhappy, well that will be said as well. Normally that's not the case, or it isn't something the individual I'm speaking with can do anything about (company policy, etc) so I adjust my phrases. I won't get someone in trouble if I can help it unless they are complete morons about the problem.
