The last couple days my open office has every word underlined (spelled wrong), and when I run the spell checker it stops at every word. Even 'a' 'the' 'at'.....

I'm a horrible speller but my hit rate is still way less than 100%

OpenOffice 3.4.1, running in windows, default language (in OO) set to english(canada). I tried switching it to english(uk), but it didn't change. As far as I know, no updates before this started

I type like a drunken monkey without spell check, and would really like this feature back. Also I'm a total technical idiot, so if you could talk down to me if you answer, I would apprecieate it.

And no, I can't afford MSOffice, but thanks for asking.

Your spellchecker has probably uninstalled itself - check your settings! A quick google found this one you can install: http://extensions.openoffice.org/en/...ing-dictionary
