  • Bootup/recovery CD for Win7 64-bit Home edition

With all of the malware troubles I have had over the last 2 months and the fact that I could not find (and could not remember how to create one) the recovery bootup disk I made a while back.

I want to make a Win 7 bootup CD disk so I can up use all of the anti-malware stuff on it. I want to at least get minimal access to Windows and maybe the internet so I can run/update the antimalware stuff.

Can anyone give me directions or point me to a site that details the procedure?

    Thanks
I'm lost without a paddle and headed up SH*T creek.

Virtually all modern PC's have a recovery partition on the HDD. Try googling your model number to see how to access it.

Probably easier than slipstreaming a full toolkit would be to make a standard recovery disc (Run > recdisk) and make a second disc w/ your antimal tools.

        bootdisk.com

There are also other sites that do the same thing. Legit ones just provide an image that needs to be burned to CD/DVD, and you will need to already have a valid installation key (often on a sticker on your computer's case).
There's no such thing as a stupid question... just stupid people.
