  • Error message

This error message pops up every time I turn on my computer, and from what I've read online, it can cause problems:

The code execution cannot proceed because rtl120.bpl was not found.

Wikifixes has a link to software to download to fix the issue, but I'd rather get advice first, before I go downloading something and using it. What's the best course of action here?

Try reinstalling your antivirus/anti-malware/security program(s). This is apparently a component used by several of those, and not a part of Windows itself. See if it'll let you reinstall to the original location without uninstalling first.

Actually, that appears to be part of a program with the rather generic name of "TuneUp Utilities", which... may not actually be of benefit to you. If it's the 'AVG TuneUp Utilities', there's a free version and a paid version. The free one will TELL you about issues, but not fix a blasted thing. The paid version is just a mild tweak to performance.

Still, if you just gotta have it, a reinstall of the program would be in order.
