Well, my laptop is slowly failing, I think. I've had it for a while and I think it's almost time for a new one. I found a place where I can order a customized "modular" one, or I can buy one through one of the big computer retailers (the one that rhymes with Yell).
Anyway, on the site where I can modularize, the processor choices for the options I'm considering are two AMD processors:
The Ryzen 9 is $200 more than the Ryzen 7. I'd be using the laptop for software development, graphic design, video editing, and audio recording and editing.
I want a laptop that will last me several years. So I'm trying to figure out which processor to use, and if I should go with the "modular" company or the one that rhymes with Yell.
Anyway, what's the actual difference in performance between the two processors above? And is it "worth" the $200 to pick the Ryzen 9 over the Ryzen 7?
