So I ripped a DVD to my hard drive for backup purposes ( 
), and the copied files play fine. When I burn it to a DVD DL+R disc, one of the chapters has no sound. I've been having more and more issues with DL+R discs not reading in my standalone DVD player and/or having general issues with freezing or locking up on playback. I normally use Ritek discs, the only other brand I ever see anywhere are Verbatims and they are almost unanimously considered the shittiest discs available.
Am I having a media problem? If so, can anyone suggest a different brand to use?
