  • Not a big deal, but annoying

    Hi.

I'm running Windows XP on my laptop. Runs fine (sometimes), but I'm having a little issue.

The other day, I was messing around with my desktop wallpaper, and decided to autohide my taskbar. No big deal, right? I just unchecked the autohide when I was done and didn't think about it.

Except now, every time I restart my computer or shut it down and then power it up, the taskbar is autohid again.

I know this isn't a big issue, but I can't get it to stop and it is driving me nuts.

    Can anyone help?

Make sure you shut down your computer by selecting Start/Shut Down and then Shut Down in the menu. Shutting down your computer by pressing the power button is usually set to perform a fast shutdown, which doesn't save everything.
