So now, I have to decide if just get a new adapter or if I get a new card.
Getting the adapter means coming up with the acutal cash, which shouldn't be hard as I get paid on Friday. But, I'll be paying more in shipping than for the actual part. Plus, waiting for shipping.
Getting the card means I'll be getting a nice upgrade for my system, and only waiting till Saturday, when I can get to Best Buy.

I am leaning toward the ATI Radeon right now.
I'm a little worried about the reports of size and DOAs, but I really don't want to replace my psu, and that's the card I have to go with to keep from doing that. I figure anything's better than the onboard card.SC: “Yeah, Bob’s Company. I'm Bob. It's my company.” - GK

I was looking at that same card for my computer - it should be a bit of an improvement over the onboard graphics of your machine. Only reason I didn't get it is that NewEgg had a fanless Asus (Nvidia) 8400GS graphics card for $35 that has served my needs well.Quoth technical.angel View PostI am leaning toward the ATI Radeon right now.

If you're planning on getting a new card anyway, hold off on getting the adapter. Most cards I've seen have one packaged in with the card.Quoth technical.angel View PostSo now, I have to decide if just get a new adapter or if I get a new card.
