Downloaded a game; how can I take it off full-screen mode?

What the title says.

The download is one of Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw's creations, and it works just fine; only problem is, it always starts in full-screen mode, and I have no idea how to reduce it! Hitting "escape" doesn't work. On a friend's advice, I tried Alt+Enter. No luck.

Anyone know?

I'm not familiar with that particular game, but on most of the ones I download, click on options or menu (if no options) and there is usually a Full-Screen check box. Uncheck it.

Press "F5" & it should give you the option to either play it in full screen or windowed mode.

Some windows applications let you use Alt+Enter to switch from full-screen to windowed mode.

Nope, none of those solutions works. Damn, that's frustrating!

Depending on the game.... I downloaded a couple of random ones off the site...
You've probably already looked so feel free to ignore ...

If there's a file in the zip called winsetup(.exe) there's a setting in there to check to run in a window.
If not, then I have no idea sorry :/

And now, I see that I can only play it in full-screen mode. If it's in a window, it just stops within a minute, and won't continue. What a mess!
