I need to know if its possible to map a network drive over the Internet. Please let me know how to do this if possible.

Yes, it is. No, you don't want to do so without a lot of prep work. Without that prep work, you're going to open up both sides of the connection to a whole world of viruses, trojans, and jackasses.
So, the super short version:
1: Get OpenVPN up and running on both computers, along with an OpenVPN server to act as the gateway.
2: Now that both machines are on the same network (thanks to the magic of VPN), you can map their drives like they are across the room from each other. -

). I'm using them now for a project, so I'm familier with them, but there are others out there.

i don't want to remotely access my computer i just want to be able to access a folder that is on one of my computers like if you would map a network drive... i don't know how to setup openVPN, every time i try to connect to the server it says "Not an access Server"
What does that mean???

Why not RDP into the remote computer and access the folder there?
