Kitchen Nighmares season finale - Chef finally walks
As for why...? The last visit was probably their biggest episode ever. Guaranteed eyeballs.
Exactly. The previous train wreck (which to be honest I still haven't watched) gathered huge ratings. Both sides want more publicity and money. You can bet there's some sort of back-door deal to generate controvercy for ratings as well as sell ad time at a premium...

I don't have the money to chase after sucker bets.
I don't know if I want to watch chef Ramsey go back to ABC.
If I thought that there could be a good outcome, where he is able to actually help their business, I'd gladly watch. I do not think there's any chance that he can get through to Amy and Sami.
I'll wait till reviews of the episode pop up before I decide to see it, or not.

I'm wondering if they are pushing it back so they can see what the outcome is on Samys deportation hearing. Filming him being put on a plane at the end of the episode would be a great ending.

While I'm sure the producers would love that sort of note, I doubt the wheels of justice (or exportation at least) move fast enough for a few weeks delay to give them an answer in time. (Especially if appeals come into play). Still, the KN lawyers are probably examining that section of the show especially closely to make sure they're in the right with it.
Huh, I just read that they were supposed to be on Dr. Phil yesterday, but that's postponed as well. Perhaps they wanted Dr. Phil to side with them and tell their tale of woe just before the Kitchen Nightmares show would air, but when he called out their BS as well they chose to shut the whole thing down?
Random conversation: Me: Okay..so I think I get why Zoro wears a bandana
DDD: Cuz it's cool
So, by using the Doctor's reasoning, bow ties, fezzes and bandanas are cool.
Oh yes. I'm 100% sure that the KN people had no contract or anything else saying that they were allowed to film on the premises...
As for asking questions around town -- they don't exactly need permission to do that.
Such innocent little, law-abiding people...
