        I think it will be awhile before we know for sure. If we ever know for sure. Judging from the article I'd guess the guy had some sort of mental illness (possibly undiagnosed) and was very unstable.

            If I ever needed a reason to never ride a Greyhound bus, that's it right there.

                  i do gotta ask...why is everybody now afraid of the greyhound bus company? it isnt the companies fault. i think you would be more likely to be in a plane crash, than this incident happen to you.

                  i mean, with everything that has happened with planes, and cars, buses seem to be in the news the least with accidents.

                    This is just totally unbelieveable. From all that I've been able to stomach reading about it, the victim was totally harmless, kept to himself and was also quite a small guy. Thoughts are with the guy's family and friends, as well as the passengers and authorities involved at the scene. What's really disturbing to me is the fact that the guy who did it was described as having no rage throughout. That's real detachment there .
