If things go the way I think they will, she's going to go into care, be given a new identity, and hopefully some decent foster parents. Mind you, her appearance has been plastered over every newspaper in the land, so a new identity may not help...
Must admit, I was cheering the verdict (both the mother and Shannon's uncle were found guilty on all three counts). The main point the defence could raise todeny the allegation that the mother changed her story often was that she was 'very stupid'.
