But three of my four little ones have been asking for the same thing since their dad left in April. The only reason the fourth hasn't... is because he can't talk yet.

There will be no happy reunion here, this year.

I'm not in your same situation, but I understand your perspective all too well. Whenever I see a story like this, I'm happy for the people depicted. But I also can't help but think about it all the folks who *aren't* going to get their holiday miracle...

I assumed he had been home to see you and the children, if only for a short time, so when I saw this, I was confused.
