I do not withdraw my earlier statement as I still stand behind my overall intent.
What I will say now, about this situation in particular, is WTF?
I feel bad for the kids- I just hope everything turns out okay for them.
If what the Gramma says is true- then I feel bad for the Grandparents as well. Currently, they seem to be victims of their daughter's hairbrained get-rich-quick scheme as well. Of course they're going to be bankrupt if they're paying for her and her kids.
