Daily Mail UK Newspaper Article on Retail Workers Hating Customers

It's always doom and gloom with this paper.......but this Customer article made me laugh. Hate for SC's has been around as long as I can remember but these days, we can slag the bastards off on the net instead of in the staff room with friends/colleagues.
I remember when I first came across the popular sport of "Customer Bashing". I was lucky enough to actually work with my Mum for a while in a shop. My Mum is THE customer service professional. What she doesn't know about Customer Service just isn't worth knowing. No one can ruffle her feathers. But the minute the assholes walked out that shop door, she would bash like a good 'un!! She taught me all I know.
Nothing really beats sitting with your colleagues and slagging the scum bags off over a cuppa......except bashing them on the net!!!!

What would be funny is maybe one day, an SC might read one of our stories and recognise themselves!!!!!!!!!!!

This site I think actually makes me better at my job; cuz if something goes wrong or if some SC yells at me, I have this place to vent at. I say, let the retail staff vent in private or else if you try to stop them, they might start venting in public. O.o

Yes and I think the general public did most of it before we all became aware of the article. Which is somewhat encouraging.

I made sure I rated the obvious comments from SC's low. And I wasn't the only one either. I hate those a******* who bang on saying " if you don't like it, leave" or "the customers pay your wages". Who the hell are they to say these things?? It's none of their business. Keep their SC noses out of it and go and learn some manners!!!!!!!!

I think the point of the article as well was that it's on Facebook and fairly extreme. These guys stories make Gravekeeper's look tame. Unlike here, where we're smart enough to keep our anonymity, those guys broadcast in the open where they work for and their names, not to mention pictures, location, everything. They're saying that you're allowed to think it, but not vent on places like facebook. Save it for here....where our loving Raps, Ree and all the lovely Mods can keep the peace

You need to vent; you'll go insane if you don't. But yeah, doing it on a site where your face and name is listed really isn't too smart.

I agree, we really need to vent...and this is such a good website to do just that. I admit that displaying everything on Facebook for all to see isn't such a great idea. Stick to this wonderful place....it's safer and you'll keep your job, that's if you really want to keep it.
