I'm a history geek and I'm really excited about this. I can't wait to hear what changes this makes in how the Anglo-Saxons are viewed.

The school I went to had a small but very intense Classics track, and one of our traditions was to go over to our prof's house on Sunday before Labor Day, and read through part of the Iliad and all of the Odyssey. Yes, it did take all afternoon and evening...and night...and into the morning. It was a badge of honor to be able to say you'd stayed awake for the whole thing (I've done it twice.)
