  • Um...this is the type of grad class where I slack off period because we have one project which we're in groups and one of my group members already pretty much had the project done, and then we'll have a final and I'm pretty good on tests.

      • Its ok for anybody to use any of the NPC's (though I ask that any using Whisper speak to me about it first) in their posts. After everybody gets to the headquarters and gets acquainted I do plan on skipping about three weeks (during which the group would be training)
Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong.

        • Can anyone tell I've been re-watching The X-Files on Netflix?

              • So are we still all grouped up in the hangar with the airplanes/still having the conversation that Ananda initiated?

                • Ok I am going to put down the personality/etc of the NPC's...feel free to use them . I will be back later. Get to know everybody, etc..

Kit and Kat..think over grown kittens, they are very curious, playful, and mischievous. They won't hurt anybody, but might play pranks (one of their favorites is pretending to be each other)

Johnny V - One of the more serious people of the group, prefers being alone but will help somebody if needed or talk to anybody about anything.

Quake - Will be slow to comprehend anything, but loves to help out if he can. Especially if it is lifting things or carrying things.

Frost - A little..hot headed. Very passionate about things, but if on a mission is perfectly professional.

Blaze - Cool, calm collected. Calculating, and maybe even more serious then Frost..though she loves using old show phrases for some reason. On missions, however, she is less serious...

Alexis - Very protective of Alex, but hardly ever shows emotion (except worry over Alex). No nonsense.

Alex - One of the most caring, genuine people in the world. Sickly, but has the potential to be the strongest Mutant ever. Carries a lot of weight on his shoulders, but will go to any length to help somebody if they need it.

                  • Hmm..I would assume so . Right now I can answer any questions in character people might have.

I'm a teacher, but the course is being offered for free by the district I work for. So isn't part of an actual full program for me.

But project is to create a unit lesson plan about a topic in American History in the time period we're covering (1865-present). My group is doing Immigration and Progressive Era.

                        • Very timely -- maybe some of the kids will get it through their heads that change, socialism, and foreigners wanting to be American aren't bad things (like the media today seems to think). (and I'll stop there to head off Fratching)

                          • I teach World History. It's hard enough to get them to realize some of this stuff is still, you know, relevant anyway. Like the Crusades. We're doing that right now. *headdesk*

                            • It might help if you ask the question ,"How would things be different if there weren't X event?" Maybe. I tended to understand history as happening to people like me, my family, and those around me. I like it just as much as I like reading fiction!
