red tailed hawk :3 we have those out in oklahoma. Cool birds. I've been lucky enough to close to one twice.

Ananda is easily fascinated by most of what you turn into-- she likes animals, but 1) doesn't get the opportunity to be around a great diversity and 2) you assuredly won't bite her unless you feel it's needed. Granted, most animals are the same way, but you won't bite her for being threatening if she's just wanting to pet you-- you can read people better than most animals, 'cuz you're a person.
Since the idea of "Sam" is blended with "animals," she thinks of you a bit differently than most people-- and it doesn't quite register with her that petting Sam could be awkward. I mean seriously-- petting a cat and then petting a human the same way ... would be intimate at best. If she registers Sam the exact same way as everyone else on the planet... she'd stop real quick. It's not that you're less (or more) of a person to her... just 'different.'

And make sure Sam remembers Kate's allergic to cats. We don't need to be dealing with a major reaction in game I think.

True Name: David Tremblay
Origin & Current residence: Quebec City, Quebec, Canada
Nickname : Vox
Powers: His voice has immense range and power, potentially generating sufficient pressure to cause great material damage; in other circumstances, he can induce an intense adrenaline rush in listeners; he is also able to imitate almost perfectly any voice he has heard sufficient samples of in a language he speaks; the samples themselves, even in foreign languages, would be absolutely spot-on when replicated.
When he concentrates on it, his hearing can pick up the slightest sound, and some ultra/infrasound as well; on the other hand, his own screaming causes him no discomfort.
Weaknesses: Large, prominent Adam's apple; photosensitive epilepsy; the intense effort of his screams can leave him severely out of breath.
Description: Short, rather skinny, with long black hair. Usually wearing mostly black leather, with spikes on shoulders, forearms and the toes of his boots.
Abilities : Speaks French and English perfectly; basic karate training; extensive knowledge of singing techniques; some knowledge of computers both on the physical and logical levels
Apparent age : 18
Real Age: 23
Government connection: Works part-time as an interpreter/translator for Quebec government personnel dealing with American and English Canadian counterparts.
Short bio: He picked up singing at a young age, moving from church choir to rock to death metal as his faith disappeared. Met limited academic success because he was too busy getting picked on. His ability with languages and superior hearing led to him being quickly chosen when he applied for a position as an interpreter with the provincial government. When he's not working, he usually practices and performs with a death metal band, typically appearing on stage blindfolded as a gimmick which also protects him from the spotlights; he usually doesn't actually use any sound amplification, merely using speakers to fill the room with his voice as venue sound system volume is around the edge of his comfort zone. He learned some karate to defend himself from out-of-hand crowds, an usual occurrence wherever his band plays due to his ability to get a crowd ready for battle.

She doesn't have much experience with big cats. I don't think a cat allergy carries over to the big cats, do they?

Allergies to cats usually are because of a protien in their spit, which they lick their fur, which then flakes into the air-- and makes you itch, sneeze and generally be miserable. ( from personal experience and research.) you might be able to find a "ask the zookeeper" type site/thingy to ask... but I would hazard a guess that if she doesn't lick herself, then you might be good. Also, it depends on how severe the allergy is.

It's mainly at the just allergic enough to be miserable level. Didn't want it to be majorly life threatening, just...a distraction. When she's having a reaction she can't concentrate on her powers. Didn't want her to have the reaction I have to horses.

And no spitting on Kate anyway!
