Mytical, Mytical, Mytical-- you'll have to get up way early in the morning to genuinely scare me as a player with an NPC as to whether one can be defeated or not-- I've been ruined forever (or educated beautifully, depending) by my current group. Which is why they're still my group after ... 5 years? Yeah.
Anyway. It's not like I won't be impressed or love the game, just... the eensy bit I posted on Lauren? Yeah, I made a bit of a hash of it-- and that's just a bit of background that my GM made up off the fly. He eats impossible for breakfast, really, and expects his players to as well. Even in more "normal" games like Werewolf and Shadowrun. Impossible and Amazing and Kick-ass-- three meals of the day.
(aaand I need to stop before making Chuck Norris-like statements. )
Anyway, don't worry, Kabe-- I need to actually go to bed before 12, so I shouldn't be on that late.
Hope I don't miss stuff. Maybe now that chat is up, the urge to post will minimize?

EDIT: nor am I saying that the NPC is defeatable, before I even know-- I mean, that'd make me all-knowing, and then I'd have to breed. Anyway, just saying about the "scare" factor. The "ick" factor you have. *shudder* zombies? urg.
yet another edit, like 15 minutes later: also, that GM of Amazing I keep mentioning? Ok f*ck yeah he steals-- left right and center, it's routine for us to guess where he got the Idea of the ... uh... well, his ideas when they're presented to us, where he got them from. Hee.

No worries about the 'scary' part, to me Alexander was never meant to be scary. His limitations are high. He's dangerous, but more like a roach then anything..just hard to get rid of. Anyhow, I am going to move to the next part, assuming everybody knows which area they are going..

Distance is fine, they would want to be far enough not to be heard, but close enough to get into action quickly.

Yeah, and I figured that the people who set up the base would be all "well, we can put it here, away from the overly-convenient outcropping of geology.

*nods* I think however that this is a sandy area. Wind storms change the features of such. Of course I have no clue, could be rainforest for all I know

Some sandy areas are completely sand-- rare for miles at a time, as far as I know. Some sandy areas are more like scoured rock with sand on it, like a table with a bucket of salt. Most, from what I understand, has random chunks of it, lemme see if I can find pictures.
