I am, but we don't have cable so I'll have to wait a year to see it. I just finished the second season on DVD! I'm excited though because my favorite character (the Hound) has a large part in the third book.

One of my friends said the show was forever ruined for him because he would, almost invariably, just happen to be in the bathroom (next to their game room) every time an episode would start. He still refers to the opening credits as the "epic poop song."

If you've read the first book, you're good for the first season (Book 1 is first season, 2 is 2nd, 3 is where it starts splitting off and including things from later books). They change things (naturally), but a lot of it is for expediency's sake, and the rest is probably because there are too many damn characters, and they don't think people will remember them all.
