F'ing hell

So today started with dogs barfing on my uniforms, no hot water for my shower, running to the laundry mat and then gym. Late to work to round things off, oh and at 8:43 finding out I'm being evicted cause my landlord is a douch in paying his bills. Which of course I could stay if I could find the 69k for the house.

the other stuff will pass. out of curiosity can you not sue or do something against the landlord for this crap? because you paid what you owe, it shouldn't be your fault the landlord failed to follow through.

Wait, you're being evicted because your landlord didn't pay his bills? Have you got the time and resources to get some legal advice? Because that doesn't sound at all right.

Had a landlord once (he ran a rooming house) that did the same thing ... e.g. cable was cut off due to non-payment. Tenant paid up so as to avoid cable cutoff; landlord offered to pay him back in instalments by monthly rent reductions. Landlord changed his tune in a hurry when all four of us confronted him. Yes, there were 4 of us renting rooms from him ... I know that at least 3 of us always paid up on time ... no idea how or where his money was going. He got nicely drunk when three of us hit him with 60 days' notice all at the same time because we were sick of the situation.

Well there was some of my own fault in there. Due to my first ever landlord lying to courts I got hit with a garnishment that chews up a third of my income. I began to struggle while I was trying to obtain my mortgage. I got the pre approval which was just withdrawn because of this mess.

He, the landlord, is a year and a half almost two behind on taxes, behind in his personal mortgage plus a few other houses that are all in the same LLC.

I tried as hard as I could to make the same dollar go three different ways and I failed. The fact that he didn't let me know about some of this until it was far too late. (I thought he was working with me in paying half the rent every check.) now I've lost out on 2500.00 since he says that was just to secure the contract that we had...unless of course I find someone to either a. Buy the place and rent it to me or b. go in on a mortgage with me.

I just...so fricken done. I keep working my way up to get smacked back to the basement again. It's hard to keep hope or keep a bright outlook when all I see is darkness. The worst part of this...I'm breaking a promise to someone I care and love deeply cause I won't be able to send care packages during his deployment.

He didn't my first landlord witch did. She charged me for a whole lot of clean up stuff that I had complained to her about and didn't do any of the work. Basically getting herself about 900 to 1100 a month extra from my pay.

So slightly odd news... The mortgage company didn't completely withdraw the offer but I've been moved to another agent since the house has strings connected to it that are...weird.

Wait, who is evicting you? Your scummy landlord, or some bank foreclosing on his mortgage? If its the latter, tenants in possession have lots of rights, so call an attorney before you pack up and move. Does sound like you don't have a copy of any written agreement with your landlord though...

Yes I do...and that's part of the problem.

And honestly I don't know. He says he's getting for loses which is why I'm getting evicted. I have gotten so much of a run around from him I'm getting twisted.
