Okay when I finally get the game someone is going to have to friend me dangit and show me the new ropes. Getting rid of my RDM class...the audacity I tell ya.

I was a RDM too, been playing Lancer in the beta and enjoyed it, ARC I played a bit too and that was fun.

Yeah, kinda sad not to see RDM in there this time...was such a good class to have in FFXI Still, you'd probably enjoy CNJ or ACN (Arcanist), I think that the Bard class right now is as close as you can get to RDM in terms of utility, although they'll play nothing alike. They get a ton of support abilities to help manage the MP and TP of the party during a fight, as well as their own DPS abilities, kinda like they did back in FFXI...they're just more DPS based than healer based this time around.

Thus far, the ONLY thing I found that I don't like about the game is the problem with Summoner and Scholar...SMN is DPS, SCH is heals...but both share attribute points as you level up. So you either level SMN first and gimp your Mind stat, or level SCH and gimp your Int stat. Kinda stinks. :/

...Which would be fixed if you could use CNJ's "Cleric Stance" as other Classes...which you can't (swaps INT and MND, no cost, lasts until you toggle it off).

I was able to enter my preorder code just now on http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/ -- now that it's working. After I logged in, I was able to get to the download page. Try that.

Meh no early access for me, I have legacy characters, I've been in both sets of Betas and I have the CE from the original time around but I am not paying £30 odd so I can get in a few days early.

Since I have the CE I will get cool stuff but not until the 27th.

Having been in beta 3 or 4 should mean you're automatically in EA...I think. Having pre-ordered means you're definitely in EA. Also, Legacy as in "you had an account" or Legacy as in "Legacy status" where you paid for X amount of time and registered as such (would have granted access to ALL betas, iirc)? I'm not, so this is just AFAIK. And yes, "carrying over" the CE status means you will get the Coeurl mount and all of those goodies.

Once you enter the early access code here ==> http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/ <== , it should take you to a place that gives you a SECOND code (to enter via the actual site that it then links you to -- I know, needlessly confusing) and a download link. It's downloadable now, and early access starts at 5AM Eastern tomorrow morning.

Early access lasts until the official launch on tuesday, with no server downtime anticipated in between. If you pre-ordered/got CE/are legacy, those goodies will be delivered Tuesday via in-game mail. at which point you should be able to enter your "actual" game code via their main site.

No code received by email, I am legacy by having played 90 days or more but I wasn't playing at the end. Played the beta from stage 2 (both times).
