    As of an hour ago or so, there is a small patch to the Launcher, but the game cannot be downloaded *yet*. Beta is scheduled to go live tomorrow at 2AM PDT. It will likely be possible to preload the game before that, but I dunno.

        Live in US as well. Not playable yet, of course, but you can pre-patch

            Oh yeah, side note -- If you end up on a paid subscription for 90 days' worth of time, you will get a bunch of free stuff (mainly Companions/cosmetic pets). If you pay each month, you will get a new set once a month. If you pre-pay for that time instead, you will get all 3 sets of goodies at once. Cool. And yes, they plan to add more incentives over time.

            Companions so far -

            Buyable for gil in-game: Bomblet, Puppet (from PUP class in 11), and one other
            For subscribing: Finger pointer (selction pointer), an ahriman (winged eye), a demonic-looking ahriman, and a couple others

              I'm already planning to subscribe for 3 months (I did the same with WoW) as it generally works out cheaper in the long run.

                I've heard that they'll be offering discounts for prepaying time in bulk (likely for 3/6/9/12 months). And yes, I know that the actual GAME download became available about an hour after I left for work. Le sigh.

                edit: For those who have yet to buy it, GMG has a code floating out there somewhere that drops 20% off the regular PC download and 25% off the CE. (no links here, please, as that's commercial -- you'll have to find it on yer own )-- code expires sometime tomorrow.

                      Start small. Think "galaxy" ~_~ I'll start working on that, too. Our resident letter ninja needs a compooter!

                      Game is online, tho SE is restricting logins due to (predictable) huge numbers. I can login to the game itself but US/EU servers are not showing up yet.

                            Well, with the maintenance that's going, the beta may not come back up tonight (if it does, yay), but I still managed to get Conjurer to 20, then got Gladiator to 15 before I found out White Mage needs Arcanist now Managed to get ACN up to 17 today though, so I'm ready to power level once the pre-launch starts. Loving it still...but this next week is gonna go slow ;p

                              Thet brought the beta up at around 2am central or so and extended it by six hours...which has since come and gone. I was at least able to get my characters into Sanctuaries for that sweet, sweet Resting EXP (yes, that, and Leve allowances will accumulate over the next week). My a widdle alts will only get the former, as the login bug kept me out for more than a day, which would have otherwise been plenty of time to get them both up to lv10 and Leve unlocks.

                              Ended up putting in some quality time on Tales of Xillia, instead
