I'm more of a textural eater so I hate eating fish where there might still be bones in it. I once gagged on my mother in laws turkey soup when I came across a bone in my mouth.
I tried her braised liver in tomato sauce. It smelled sooo good and the sauce was soooo good but liver, blech, texture like a sponge. I really wanted to like it too.
Cod tongues, OMG GROSS!! TEXTURALLY DISGUSTING!! Slimy and yech!

      Things I can't stand eating...

Eggs (unless they are in something).

Brocolli....the texture of the heads kill me....cooked, raw, steamed....nothing makes them better for me.

Olives....WAY to salty for my taste....never did like them.

anything sugar free...the aspertame in them I'm deathly allergic to.

      coffee....can't stand the bitterness.

liquor and beer....can't stand the taste but I LOVE a good wine.

most pork products tend to turn my stomach....but i could eat an entire rasher of bacon with no problems....go figure.

used to HATE brussel sprouts...mushy tasteless crap.....till my dad one year baked them with a red wine vinager and sugar "glaze".....crispy and just the right texture...now we request them every year.
It is by snark alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of the coffee bean that thoughts acquire 'tude, the lips acquire mouthiness, the glares become a warning.

        My list would be:

Onions-- cooked, raw, or otherwise. Just no.

Mustard, Mayo, Ranch and any and all salad dressings. Seriously, about the only condiments I tolerate are ketchup and barbeque sauce!

Brocolli, Cauliflower, Celery and most veggies. The most veggies I will eat are carrots (boiled until soft), peas, green beans, potatoes, and corn

Pork, pork and pork. I will eat shaved ham in sandwiches. That is it.

Coffee and tea, and no, adding a ton of sugar doesn't help.

Sauerkraut. Oddly, my mother used to make this boiled with pork. I always just picked the meat out and ate that.

Banana, real or fake. I used to eat bananas, but now I can't stand them. It's a texture thing with the real ones, and a taste thing as well.

Coconut, unless it's mixed in with something like pineapple in juice or something like that.

Peanuts, walnuts, cashews, pistachios--okay let me just sum this one up and say Nuts. I don't like nuts.

Chinese/Asian foods in general. Maybe someday I will find something in this category I like, but as yet... nothing.

I will not touch alcohol, of any kind. I don't even like the smell, and my family has a long, fairly dark history with it.

Sugar free things- I used to be able to eat these with no problem. Then I ate a bag of sugar free caramels, and ended up on the toilet most of the afternoon. Ever since then, anything sugar free, except diet sodas, has given me the runs.

Generally, if something has a strong taste or an odd taste, it's off putting to me. This is why I can't tolerate mayo or ranch, or the Chinese dishes. Yes, I'm a picky eater. I'm not sure how I turned out that way, given that my mother had a strict "eat it or else" policy.

I'm a disgrace to my (mostly) German heritage, but I can't stand sauerkraut or pretty much anything else that's big to the Germs....and I also mean BEER.

I HATE beer. Kind of overshare, but if anything on earth makes me gain water weight like a camel, it's a beer. I can grow a pooch and fart like a rhino after drinking a beer. When it's ice cold, it tastes alright. After that, naw. And it's not worth coming home, weighing myself 5 pounds heavier, farting nonstop.

I also hate onions, mushrooms, peppers, baked beans, carrot cake, orange juice, whiskey and especially cheap liquor.

Check to see of those items contained Maltitol, a sugar substitute. If too much is consumed, it does have a laxative effect. Diet pop usually has aspartame in it.

Oh you know what I forgot about carrot cake...I HATE that shit. I also hate super gloppy chocolate surprise with caramel and whipped cream kind of desserts. I like plain vanilla type stuff. Only in desserts though

I despise most beans. Pinto Beans, Navy Beans, Lima Beans, you name it. Yuck. Just Yuck. I do, however, love black beans.

I hate most beers. I also cannot stand Bloody Marys. Strangely enough, I like tomato juice and I even like Vodka on occasion, but mixing the two together just ruins it.

Other than macadamia and hazlenuts I dislike most nuts. Chocolate covered nuts is a waste of perfectly good chocolate.

I love fresh strawberries, but don't care for anything with strawberry flavoring. I don't like raw bell peppers, but they're fine cooked.

How did I forget Lima beans? They were the bane of my childhood. Yuck!

Eggs of any kind, in any form.

Fruit, except for perhaps two kinds of berries. Ironically, I can tolerate some fruits, like apples, if they're cooked, but not raw. Never raw.

Kale. Which is suddenly the darling of every health food nut on the planet. Get away from me with that stuff!!

Some things I've never eaten and will NEVER put in my mouth: Rabbit; alligator; kangaroo.

I did hear of one regional food that just hearing about will, I guarantee, kill your appetite for hours. My sister saw this on one of those travel programs on TV, this was somewhere in South America; highlight if you dare: Fruitbat. Cooked but not otherwise prepared in ANY way.

                        Squid / octopus / calamari.
Fish that's served with the head still on. I've looked at a lot of food in my time, but I draw the line at having it look back at me.
I love squid/octopus/calamari. Love it. Ate it live once, when I was in Korea. Awesome.

As for foods I hate, pretty much anything green I can't stand. I like raw spinach in salads or on subs, but that's about it. If it's green, I don't like it. It's just . . . nasty. Bitter.

I dislike beans in pretty much any form.

I like some nuts, but usually only if they're roasted and salted.

Can't stand califlower. Brussel sprouts are like mini cabbages; nasty.

Ironically, I do like cabbage in egg rolls/spring rolls and in kimchee. Other than that, it's vomit city.

                        Olives . . . ICK!

The only kind of meat I dislike is liver and kidney; organ meats basically.

I don't like milk except in cereal.

I like the taste of banana but not the texture. Can't stand pears. Other than that I like pretty much any fruit.

Speaking of live animals, one of my mates (in the army) did a recent deployment to Malaysia (he's mostly been SE Asia-in this case, Timor-Leste and Malaysia). He shared with us the story of the cobra shots he and his buddies did while over there. I can't remember too much except that the shots involved cutting open a cobra, using the blood from the STILL LIVING COBRA and putting the drinks through the heart a couple of times or something like that.

Lima Beans are the worst of the worst when it comes to beans. Fortunately,as the one who does all the cooking at home,I don't have to cook anything I don't like.

It would probably be a shorter list if I put what I liked ... I am a very picky eater.
