This is free, for today, anyway. Snag it even if you don't have a Kindle; you should be able to read it via web browser.

Wait. The monsters have persistence? I thought they were just randomly generated periodically! So if, for instance, a decent-level monster had gotten away from you in a certain spot in the real world, you have a chance to find it again if you go back to that spot?Quoth Sliceanddice View Post[I] caught an Eevee which I had been hunting for two days.“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged.
One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world.
The other, of course, involves orcs." -- John Rogers

one (and mostly only) thing that really really bugs me is the intuitive spawning.
See certain types of Pokemon are suppose to spawn in certain areas based on whats there and things like the what type of environment yours in. A.K.A. during a storm you should actually find certain types of Pokemon easier than other.
While I have actually found some of this to be true there are some obvious problems.
1) in normal temperate areas the easiest most common type of Pokemon are rattata, pidgey and ekans. I live in Arizona. This not a normal temperate area!!! Its hot and dry. The basic common Pokemon should instead be diglett, geodude and well ekans still works as thats a snake looking poison type pokemon. Kind of a fail on the games part.
2) Certain types of Pokemon shouldn't be able to spawn in certain areas. I.E. Water and Ice type Pokemon shouldn't spawn in the middle of a park no where near even a canal in Arizona. Grass type should be harder to find but not totally impossible. My mom found a a horsea....
For the most part things make sense, certain parks are prone to certain pokemon (One right outside Electrobuzz when there are storms about but mostly meowths and mankeys, another close by one weedles, ponytas and eevees. Its just like there's a little script of code not entered to take in to consideration average temperatures and weather in the area.
