Hey, nobody said Spanish grammar absolutely had to make sense! :-) It can't be any worse than English...

What's wrong with English grammar? It makes perfect sense once you take into account the 500+ languages it is derived from.

The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.

English is the result of Norman men-at-arms attempting to pick up Saxon barmaids and is no more legitimate than any of the other results.

My original name many, many moons ago (when Mr. Slugger was the owner) was LadyChardonnay.

When we changed owners and had to re-register, I simply changed it to DGoddessChardonnay.

Mine was pretty simple: I like wine and Chardonnay has traditionally been my favorite varietal.

Add to that the fact that I am a Goddess in my own right, so there you have it.
