It is do or die tonight. Can the Cubs hang on or will the goat have its way?
Either way, this brings a whole new meaning to:
Wait till next year! :-)
Not quite do or die, but close. If the Cubs win tonight, there's still a Game 7. At least tonight (and tomorrow if needed) are supposed to be beautiful nights here in Cleveland.

Unseen but seeing oh dear, now they're masquerading as sane-KiaKat There isn't enough interpretive dance in the workplace these days-Irv 3rd shift needs love, too

I tuned in about the 7th inning just to see what was going on. Don't like baseball at all. Actually, "don't like" is pretty mild for how I feel but that's not important. I'm more of a football fan. And as someone who's not a fan...holy crap it was a fantastic game. I can't even imagine how it would be if I was a fan. Great game, great distraction from all the crap going on in the world. Congrats to the Cubs.
I would have a nice day, but I have other things to do.
Hats off to Cleveland. This was a series worth watching no matter who your favorite team is. That was great baseball. It was good enough to convert Trixie!
The Indians, Rangers and Astros still have a longer drought than the Brewers, who are tied with the Padres and Nationals at 48 years. Brewers, Padres and Nationals were franchised in 1969 and have never won. At least the Brewers have taken a pennant. The Nationals are the oldest team to have never made the World Series. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...eason_droughts
There's been a lot of jokes like "uh-oh the World Series is over... back to the election..." Because it WAS an excellent distraction. Maybe everyone will just be mad at Starbucks for their green cup? Goodness people need to stop overreacting ever year to that.
Replace anger management with stupidity management.
