I recently saw an article about fashion that's probably best left for Fratching, but it got me to thinking.
How "important" is fashion to you? I don't know if it's because I'm a "small town Texas guy", or what, but for the longest time I've basically been a "jeans and t-shirt" kind of guy. I don't care for what's "in fashion" much at all.
Sure, I'll wear "fancy" clothes from time to time. But I don't generally look for "fashion" names. I go for what is within my price range, and what looks and feels good to me.
I usually wear Wrangler jeans, or at the office I wear whatever I usually pick up at "big box" stores. I'm looking to buy a pair of Roper boots, too. I do kinda like "western-style" fashion, but still, I wear what I like.
Heck, my suit I have hanging in my closet is from JC Penney. My sneakers I'm wearing right now are Sketchers, because they fit well and have memory foam in them.
Bottom line is, I buy stuff and wear stuff that looks good to me. The fact that something is "Tommy Hilfiger" or "Aeropostale" or "Abercrombie" doesn't really matter to me -- at all.
What about you?

"How do YOU know that?!"
I can't say I don't care at all, but I don't care too much. We're so relaxed in this area. Jeans and some kind of coat with a hood, tennis shoes or boots or whatever. If I want to make more of an effort, I'll make pick a nicer coat, and/or match a scarf with the coat. Or nicer shoes. I tend to buy coats and shoes. I hope it snows this year I have new snow boots!
