I'm in a better place now that I have had some D&D time...

Yesterday I asked mom for an update on Granpa...

                "Oh, I'm sorry...
He passed last night about 11:30."

Keep in mind it was 3:30 pm I asked for an update after days of not hearing anything. Which makes me wonder... WHEN THE FUCK WERE YOU GOING TO TELL ME!?

Sad to say this, but families do suck at times. And usually it's at the worst of times (like during a family loss.)

As I'm coming to realize, time will take care of things. It may not seem like it, but one day at a time is probably the best way to handle these things. Whatever way you find is best to deal with the loss, follow it.

And don't forget, we're always around here.

Last night I sent a text to my therapist.(I have her cell #)
She called me back this morning and spent like an hour on the phone with me.
I think I can make it to our appointment Thurs now.

                          Oh, it gets better!

After DAYS of hearing NOTHING about a funeral I call Dad:

"I thought someone would have told you by now!"
"No Dad! Nobody tells me anything! When is it?"
                          "Saturday."
"That's not a lot of time to make arrangements, I'm not sure I can make it..."

Meanwhile in my head I'm thinking "FUCK YOU ALL! I'm not even going to TRY!"
