Gah! It happened again! (Kitty Foundlings)

Our dachshund was really pissing me off trying to play with her today (she'd just jump up onto a shelf leaving his stupid furry butt running in circles). I think I reacted so strongly because black kitties are often unwanted, and that triggered my "don't you DARE bully her" instinct.

In reality though, the dog isn't being a bully. He's more like that socially awkward kid who wants to be your friend way too badly.

Awww, I'd be his friend. I have a soft spot for that breed. Oh, who am I kidding? I like dogs as much as I do cats. Re: black cats--they are beautiful but I prefer tabbies. Still, if a black cat bonded with me I'd surely adopt it if I could. All kittehs deserve a good home.

I'm actually more of a natural dog person. Mutley has converted me to dachshunds. They're stubborn and hard to house-train, but they're so loving. He's actually blind, born that way, and was adopted for the same reason as Ezri: I know what it's like to not be wanted because someone thinks you're evil or broken.
