Arthroscopic or did they filet you?

I have had 4 arthroscopic surgeries (abdominal). Recovered from them fairly quickly. Only a two week lifting restriction. Comfortably moving around the next day. My last Cardiac Cath had more issues (black and blue from my groin down to my knee).

Filet. I have a huge, ugly, stapled incision running north to south. The staples come out on Wednesday. Everything is all swollen. It's difficult to move around.

Yeah, that will take longer to heal. Take is easy for the time being.

And don't sweat the scar. That is a badge of honor. If anyone is daft enough to ask about it, tell them "You should have seen the other guy."
