Small (20-25 pounds), friendly, and not high energy (but not a couch potato either) - they make a great pet. People always tend to think they're a fox, too.
Edit: We had a major jailbreak last night. Ginger pushed the two exercise pens apart so she could get out (and had an "accident"). Three of the puppies got out also (they didn't go far but I was in a total panic because I could only count 4 puppies, not 5. I almost woke my wife up at 2AM to help me find her, thinking she fell down the stairs, she was under a bed etc..
She was wrapped up the blanket in there, safe and snug.

Honestly, they don't shed that much. Yes, they do blow their coat 1-3 times a year (like all dogs do) but that's about it. As long as you keep up with the brushing (1-2 times a week) you should be fine with it.
And yes, that is Artemis (shepherd puppy playing with them) in the video, to.
These puppies will be 8 weeks next week.
My wife has decided that we won't do this too often from now on, one litter every couple of years maybe (for now).Comment
