I almost disemboweled someone at the library for touching them last week. You do NOT. Touch. The boots.

Well, they look like they could stand up to some touching just fine, but why would someone want to?

I'm on a quest for new shoes. I have a pair of black Mudd shoes that are a few years old. They're sorta like loafers with a wide, rounded toe and about a 2 inch heel. The heels are sturdy and rubber and they are comfy to walk in. Unfortunately they are half a size too big for me which made the insole totally rub away (which does not stop me from wearing them). But now the seam on the top of one of the feet is starting to come apart so they are on their last legs (heh). I have yet to find something comparable.... everything I see that might work is too tight to wear with socks.

Oh, they can stand up to a lot, but I still don't like people touching anything around me uninvited. He was asking where I got them. I guess he wanted to make sure they were real.

I chose to slice him open verbally than get blood on the carpet. Cause, you know, I like it there. It has books.

Ironically, I've been trying to post a few of my more flamboyant ones here, but something's wrong with the reader on my computer and I can't extract the pics off my camera for some reason.

I'll have to do the linky thing till I sort that out, which sucks because I can tell you right now I won't be able to find some of my favorites online anymore. I think my favorite Docs, which are blue reptile, have been discontinued or something. And my second favorite pair of pumps is some off brand I paid something like15-20 bucks for, but they are georgeous and full of awesome. (Most of my shoes are actually no-brand finds, actually. )They are covered with stripes of ribbon. I get my camera sorted out and I'll post 'em.
