Have you ever looked into getting a good shoe form to make your shoes fit better?

The stretchy things? It wouldn't do anything except rip apart the shoes to really help given how it'd have to do it's thing. On shoes, the problem for me starts at the last shoe string place on the shoe (the only place where the height isn't "flexible"

This picture shows an example, the red parts would have to be "shoe" for it to fit right (given normal shoes):


To stretch the sides and top that much... it'd just rip them apart (I frequently wear the tops of shoes out before the bottoms)!
