Criminal Minds Season Finale (Possible Spoilers)

Yes, he was! I felt so bad! even worse when the girl he kidnapped empathized with him and was trying to help him at the end. So sad!!

I like that Criminal Minds is a show that doesn't have a completely happy ending, bad guy caught, good guy triumphs kind of thing. It's great. And I like how, despite it being hunting serial criminals, they don't try to amp up the gore in an "Zomg look blooooood!!" kind of way. Keeping it understated with glimpses here and there really add to the thrill of it, IMO.

The masked man I think IS the Boston killer, but at the same time...not sure. The ep with the Boston killer, he looked...taller. but when he said "You should've made a deal"...

THIS is why I don't want the season to be over yet!!!!

I never really watched it, but now I'm gonna!! I don't know what's up w/ Hotch. I looked it up on the interweb and the masked man is some Boston killer??
Anyway, the spinal regeneration experiments on homeless people has been done in a movie. Every once in a great while I think of that movie, and it irks me that I can't remember the title. It was at least 15 yrs ago that it was in theater. Maybe I'll do a search.
I actually cried bitterly toward the end when the police shot the brother. He was really just another victim.

Am I the only one who really LOVES this show? It's the only show, to my knowledge, that I've followed for the entire 4 seasons it's been running! I love it, but then I'm told I'm rather weird.

ANYWAYS...what was up with the season finale last night?! I was beyond thrilled that it was 2 hours, and the pig farm really eeked me out. It reminded me of one of the hannibal movies. Creeeepy. And nice twist on the crippled unsub, with his mentally challenged brother. So sad. Hotch's speech at the end was great, but the final scene?? OMGWTFBBQ?!?!?!??!?!!!!11?!!?!

I don't want to wait months for the next season!! They did this at the end of Season 3 with the SUV explosion!! Damn them!! But then, that's probably why I'm hooked. It's a show that actually keeps me guessing. I kind of tapered off with Law and Order (all 3) when I figured out the entire plot in the first 5 minutes, including all the supposed surprise twists....

so, pardon my nerdy gushing, but squee!! Great show!! Am I the only one who follows it??
