A word of warning (sorry to come off as a wet blanket, but you'll thank me later):

Your prize is taxable income. If any part of your prize is cash, do yourself a favor and put that in a 6-month CD (9-month, preferably, if that is an option). Sometime between New Year's and Valentine's day, the radio station sponsoring the contest will send you a 1099. As few, if any, withhold the federal and state taxes for this sort of thing, you'll be paying income tax on the cash equivalent--if not immediately when you do your next return.

I have had to tell more than one person that they owe or get a 3-figure refund (way small) because of this sort of thing (significant income with no withholding). PM me if you have any questions.
