I read a lot, and I generally find it more comfortable to take my glasses off when I read. The other day, I was lying in bed reading, and accidentally rolled over onto my glasses. No biggie, it happens. They were a little squashed, but not too badly. Didn't think anything of it.
After a few days, I started to notice something: it feels like I'm going cross-eyed!! It very much feels like my eyes are trying to focus on two different areas, and last night I had double-vision for hours after taking off my glasses. It was gone when I woke up this morning, but holy crap!
I'm calling the eye center as soon as they're open to see how much it will cost to have someone adjust my glasses. Driving on the freeway when my eyes are focusing on two different areas? NOT FUN.
