Shooting games, whatever I can get my hands on...Doom 2 via Kickstart/Doomsday is the truly dirty secret of the lot, Counterstrike is the one I admit to in public usually.

Japanese music at insane volumes, with singing to match. Vocaloid anyone?

Failing that, MIDI. Timidity and I are great friends these days, after retiring my AWE64. Less so the neighbors who didn't grow up on Mega Man 3 and FF4.

      Phone sex.

We do a lot of stuff online...but mostly I just miss being held. That's the best way for me to unwind.

Used to be I'd take a few Dilaudid or Percocet or Vicodin or all three and some sleeping pills and wait until I hallucinated. Then I'd know I'd be painless and carefree for a while.

And then I had a child and my liver and kidneys started to fail. I'm looking for a new outlet.

Beer. Beer. And more beer. And then....some beer.

And would you happen to have a link to said free downloadable game?
          Its somewhere on FullyRamblomatic.com

Alcohol tends to taste awful IMO, so I can't handle it because of the taste alone. I have found a few that aren't bad though. Usually, I would jump my boyfriend/girlfriend. Now that I'm single (thankfully so) AND antisocial I don't have much in the way of unwinding- my passions (art, writing) just make me mroe stressed out usually. I'm burnt out : < So I'm on a quest to find a way to unwind.

And one thing I wanted to say: Don't feel guilty spending money once in a while on something 'frivolous' that will relax you! Mental health is just as important as physical- trust me, I know.

              Exercise, or masturbation.

Both of them flood the brain with endorphins, which should make you smile.

Already tried both, but thanks for the advice

Rigorous exercise. I feel like a million bucks after wrestling practice (though, not during).

Or if it's the weekend, craisins and Johnny Cash.

I love a good glass of wine now and then, vodka or a beer. My problem? I must be allergic to alcohol or it exasperates my allergies. I look like Rudolf after a drink. It doesn't happen all the time, though. I think it's based on the time I take my allergy meds.
I would love to be able to get a little buzz after a hard day.

I am an ex-smoker. I can't go back. My husband would be devastated if I did. Truth be told? I miss it.

So, I immense myself in reality TV, scream my "angry" songs (think "Break Something" by Limp Bizkit) or get my husband to have some rocking sex with me.

With me it depends sometimes just sittin around and pickin bluegrass with my brothers and passing the mason jar back and forth is good enough. If I'm feelin bloody I'll play a particularly violent video game. Feelin really bloody (not often) I get a belt and me and MaDuce will have some fun. Down side of that it's loud and draws lots of LEO attention and there's the cleaning. Most of the time I'll play with the kids or one of the dogs until the wife gets home and then

Actually I used to believe that too... you just have to find the right thing for you... Try an Amaretto Sour (Which is actually not sour at all), Rum Runner, or (assuming the bar makes it right) a Grateful Dead.

I rarely rarely drink, but once a while a good drink or two can really relax me. I sing in my car and blast up the music while I drive . I do some ...sexercise with SO . Sometimes I might buy myself something to make myself feel good or get something junky to eat if I'm stressed or pissed off.
