I sold my soul yesterday and started a damn profile. Already found a bunch of people...and well, so far at least I know what they've been up to these past few years, and since they've been asking me, at least I know I'm not a non-entity.

I think a wedding or a new baby is a big enough event to warrant an email, at least. Not everyone is on Facebook.

I tend to think nothing about my life is important enough to bother other people with. I could win a Nobel Prize and still not want to bother people with it.

And yes, I am serious.

I'd probably tell a few people on the grounds that I know that some people are 'strange' and would want to know, but it'd be a rather brief and embarassed email or text message or something. And I'd ask them to tell anyone they thought would really want to know, for me.
