Mite update!
I went to the doctor yesterday and they refused treatment because it appeared, both to a nurse practitioner and the doctor who just happened to be there at the time, that the scabies are going away. My fear was caused by what appeared to be a new burrow, plus some new bumps with the ends chewed off, but they told me in the nicest possible way that I was being paranoid.
Who can blame me? If you've had scabies, every little itch or twitch makes you panic.
Meh. I'm going to the doctor again on Tuesday to get the results of some bloodwork from earlier last month. If the scabies really are back, I'm sure they'll be just beautiful by the time Tuesday comes around.
