It's long enough after that if any of the old structures of government are in place, they are unrecognizable.

For the most part the people are clannish, holing up in city states scattered across the habitable area. The only thing remotely resembling a unifying force are the tech-priests who try to regulate and maintain the remaining technology.

Could build up a tension between the clans and the tech-priests. Especially if some of the clans are trying to get the tech for themselves and out of priest control.

Yeah, I'm up for this again (3rd year) I might do better this time since I was recovering from surgery last time and had a bad reaction to the pain meds they gave me. (hard to write when you can barely stand because you are so dizzy)

I've just signed up for the first time. I've a vague idea rattling round in the back of my head after watching the Man From UNCLE yesterday!

In all these spy programmes they had a network of people hiding things like the guy who runs the shop with the secret entrance or the people in Captain Scarlet who hid the fancy vehicles for them. I fancy something either telling their back-story of why they work for the agency or someone using them to bring down the agency.
