mother of pearl...where to start with all the non-funny comedians? I think all the ones listed stink equally but I will add Joe Rogan. I saw his attempt at comedy and people were laughing hysterically. who knows why? Maybe some dental laughing gas(I forgot what it was called. having a stupid moment).

I don't know that I have a least favorite. There are a lot that I like, but I tend to forget the unfunny ones.

If I remember the story right, his friends actually bet him to go to the audition for that show because it was the complete opposite of what he did on stage. Most people had never heard of him before that, so when he started doing stand up again they would go see him thinking he would be like Danny Tanner when he isn't even close.

Which is fine, if he was actually funny when he cussed. But a 5 minute "chat" where there are only 3 words (f, s & c)? Yeah not so much

I was waiting for someone to say that. It was the first, and possibly the only name that popped into my head when I saw the thread title. I thought he was a halfway decent actor on Full House, but his lame attempts at humor on America's Funniest Home Videos sucked. And as if that wasn't bad enough, I caught one of his stand-up routines later. It was about as painful to watch as William Shatner trying to sing.

Tracy Morgan was the WORST FREAKIN' SHOW I have EVER seen. Seriously, it was so unfunny and so completely foul that people were bitching in the Letters to the Editor section of the paper for almost two months. It was horrendous. I am almost never offended, so when I am grossed out that is *really* an accomplishment.

In other news, we're going to see Mike Birbiglia on the 17th in San Francisco and I can't wait- my husband and I are huge fans.

Andy Kaufman.

Boring. Annoying. Extremely Not Funny.

Not funny on Saturday Night Live. Not funny on Taxi. Not funny on the stage. Not funny fake wrestling with women, lip synching the Mighty Mouse theme song, or portraying a lounge lizard. Not even funny when portrayed in a movie by Jim Carrey.

And we are supposed to believe that this man was a comedic genius.

I thought Bob Sagat was hilarious in The Aristocrats. Dane Cook has his moments, and Demitri Martin has a very dry sense of humor, so he isn't for everyone.

I've heard Andrew Dice Clay is terrible, but I've never seen him, so I'll have to go with Gallager. I have a "best of" tape of his, and the only part that was even close to being worth watching was the last 5 or 10 minutes when he his stuff with a sledgehammer.

Andy Kaufman.

People either loved or hated Andy. I can see the points from both sides. There were times when he was boring, annoying, irritating, and painful to watch. But I have to say, his Mighty Mouse thing, the first time you saw it at least, was simply drop dead hilarious. And his Elvis, after acting as the bumbling broken English foreigner, was so dead on perfect that it made that bit hilarious. To me Andy was half comic genius, half annoying idiot. Problem was, you never knew what you were going to get.
