Final update:
She lasted about a half hour after her ventilator was turned off. My older sister called me once it had happened (around 10:30am), and D and I sat and held each other for a while before I went back to sleep.
Services are scheduled for next Monday. D and I will drive out there as soon as I wake up Sunday afternoon and get a hotel room. My older sister and her family are leaving in the morning.
It will be a quick trip out and back because none of us can afford a whole lot in the way of hotel rooms (and their place out there is too small for all of us to crash at).
