I see you're searching for that "mood music" as I like to call it.

I enjoy listening to music while I'm writing too . . . certain songs help with certain scenes I'm trying to write.

I see nobody has mentioned this classic from the early 80's that might be appropriate for the scene you're describing . . .

    "Hello" by Lionel Ritchie

Human Resources - the adult version of "I'm telling Mom." - Agent Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo (NCIS)

Right now, I am working on a story. The story is about a guy who becomes best friends with a girl, but falls in love with her, even though he knows there isn't a chance that he could be with her because she is already spoken for, but come to find out, she loves him too.
For that first part, the "I love you but I don't stand a chance because you're in love with someone else", I thought of Ayumi Hamasaki's "Days". It's in Japanese, so I don't know if that's a problem.

If I think of something else, I'll PM you.
1129. I will refrain from casting Dimension Jump and Magnificent Mansion on every police box we pass.

I never knew the title of that song! I knew who it was by. Looking back now, I should have guessed what the title was.
"Kill the fat guy first?! That's racist!" - my friend Ironside at a Belegarth practice after being "killed" first.

"Mountain Time" by Joe Bonamassa. The song really starts at about 2:00 in. He really ain't much of a singer but the song is incredible.
