Positive energy needed. And my turn to request lots of hugs
But not for me.
I just literally got a phone call 2 minutes ago.
My cousin's baby girl, who's only 3 is being airlifted to a children's hospital in Lubbock. She apparently fell into a trash fire her father and grandfather had going, and she has 2nd and 3rd degree burns on her hands and arms.
My cousin is a wreck. And my family is on the edge of their seats because this is pretty serious, and this poor baby girl was finally just sedated a few minutes ago because she couldn't understand why she was in so much pain, which of course is taking a toll on all the adults in the family.
So yeah.
Requesting positive thoughts. Prayers. Good energy. Hugs to my baby niece (who's technically my 2nd cousin, but she calls me Auntie Lupy.

<sigh> I will NOT look at this as a bad omen for 2010, but this is still a harsh blow to my family no less.
