Glad to see the cane/sword /concealed weapon thing has passed, and I almost hate to point it out, but in case someone is reading and thinking of replying before they get to this post - don't go there in this thread again, please.

I'm just disturbed that she laid it down. If he had better reflexes than she did, she just armed him.
Never do that. In fact, don't even carry one unless you know how to use it. He'll just take it away from you and use it on you.
I mean, yeah, it worked out in her favor, but only because she got lucky and the guy decided she'd be more trouble than she was worth. He didn't call her bluff. Had he been a little more ambitious, things could have gone really wrong.Comment
